balænce

branding + web design for local musician

Balænce came to me with a vision: to create a brand and website that felt mysterious, dark, and ritualistic; a space where their music could live and breathe.

I began with the foundation: a complete brand identity system including logo design, typography, and a color palette that balances stark contrasts with atmospheric depth. The visual language was crafted to feel modern yet timeless, echoing the band’s sound: moody, layered, and magnetic.

From there, I designed and developed the website, integrating iTunes and Spotify so visitors could move seamlessly from visuals into sound. The site leans heavily on custom imagery, video, and evocative copy, designed to immerse the audience in Balænce’s world rather than simply present information. Every element, from layout to motion to micro-details, reinforces the feeling of ritual and invitation.

The finished site is more than a digital hub. It is a vessel; carrying the band’s music, imagery, and philosophy into a cohesive experience that lingers like a spell.
