01. Behind the Brand

In the heart of Queens, New York, Karisma Ajodah, LCSW, has created a space where therapy feels less like an appointment and more like a return to self. As both psychotherapist and meditation instructor, she weaves mindfulness and evidence-based care into every session, guiding clients toward empowerment, awareness, and healing.

KarismaCare is rooted in compassion and clarity; a brand that honors the sacred quiet between insight and transformation. Her practice invites clients to exhale, to find calm within complexity, and to believe that change, when approached with gentleness, can feel like grace.

02. Behind the Design

  • Karisma’s previous digital presence didn’t reflect the warmth or depth of her therapeutic approach. She wanted a cohesive brand identity and a Squarespace website that mirrored her voice: spiritual yet grounded, professional yet deeply human. Her goal was to create an online space that felt safe, inviting, and empowering for those beginning their healing journey.

  • I began with discovery: uncovering the soul of her brand through tone, imagery, and language. The brand design blends deep blues and soft golds [colors that evoke serenity and inner strength] paired with clean typography and organic design elements.

    The website strategy and copywriting centered on mindfulness and empowerment, integrating Karisma’s specialties in trauma-informed care, meditation, EMDR, and ACT therapy. Each page was designed as a sanctuary; calm, intuitive, and easy to navigate.

  • The design draws from sacred geometry, Buddhist philosophy, and the natural rhythm of breath. Think candlelight on polished stone, indigo silk, and the quiet strength of a calm sea. Every visual and word choice was an act of mindfulness, translating emotional safety into visual form.
